Sales Executive (Medical)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the sales and marketing activities for medical products from raising purchase order to performing demonstration of equipment operation
  • Work with Business Unit Head to develop and execute sales strategy to build and maintain a robust sales order, achieve sales, and gross profit targets
  • Interact extensively with all existing and potential customers in identifying customer needs
  • Attend to sales enquiries, quotations, tender bids, securing orders, arranging equipment delivery and other duties relating to sales transaction
  • Plan and organise work to ensure timely follow up of leads and provide accurate responses to all customer inquiries
  • Work closely with in-house technical team and admin support to provide pre- and post-sales support
  • Work with admin support to ensure timely replenishment of consumable stock and no stock-out issue

Competence (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Understanding and knowledge of the Singapore healthcare sector and its operating environment
  • Knowledge on the ISO 13485 Quality Manual and relevant Standard Operating Procedures
  • Understanding and knowledge of GeBIZ (government tender) and private tender processes and requirements 
  • Skills in preparation of materials and presenting in small group settings (user demo and training, customer presentation)
  • Skills in negotiation with customers, principals, and suppliers on requirements
  • Skills in relating to and servicing the customers with a win-win mind set
  • Skills in managing the sales process, including sales proposal, costings, negotiation and closing the sales

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Biomedical, Business or other related studies
  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in the Healthcare industry
