Work hour : 8.30am to 5.30pm (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT Governance: Monitor and maintain network security and infrastructure health to ensure reliability and efficiency in daily IT operations.
- End-to-End Process Management: Design, validate, and implement office network topology, including cabling connections and firewall configurations. Manage physical and virtual security, server provisioning, backups, and IT asset management.
- Proactive Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor IT operations, deliverables, risks, and issues. Provide timely incident reports and conduct maintenance to ensure IT services meet SLAs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with Corporate IT and external vendors to seek technical support and solutions for various IT components, including infrastructure, network, security appliances, servers, and system software.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement hot fixes, patches, firmware upgrades, and OS hardening security measures to address vulnerabilities promptly. This includes both Windows and Linux OS, as well as major firewall brands.
- Hands-On Operations: Manage Active Directory, DNS, file servers, printers, email systems, antivirus software, backups, and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) with a focus on security best practices.
- End User Support: Provide Level 2 IT support to end-users onsite or remotely. Be available for standby support during outages.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Handle and escalate system and application faults. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software technical issues promptly.
- Compliance and Auditing: Perform regular internal audits to ensure compliance with IT policies and regulations.
- Documentation and Adherence to SOPs: Follow guidelines and standard operating procedures for IT administration tasks, including account creation, termination, and changes. Maintain proper documentation.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with Chinese counterparts.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent field; consideration given to candidates with relevant diplomas and strong work experience.
- Experience in cyber security, including OS hardening, security log review, and risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in IT network administration, system administration, and office administration.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate a strong interest in the field.
- Willingness to convert to a permanent role based on performance and potential for growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or similar are preferred.
- Excellent technical skills with an approachable attitude and a strong sense of ownership. Adaptability is key.
