The newly setup Office of Data and Analytics (ODA) at the Nanyang Technological University is seeking to fill Assistant Manager (Data and Analytics) position.

Job Responsibilities

1. Generates insights from both external and internal data to facilitate evidence-based decision making at various levels of the University.

2. Develops and implements databases, data analytics and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency.

3. Locates and defines new process or continual improvement to support decision-making at different level of the University.

4. Works in team which consists of stakeholders across different units.

Job Requirements

1. Has (or expecting) a PhD degree in the Social Sciences or the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), NOT necessarily in the data science or related fields,

2. Has empirical and quantitative skills,

3. Has good coding skills,

4. Has good communication skills,

5. Candidates who have visualization skills will have added advantage.
